Each State and Territory in Australia - along with New Zealand - has been provided with a kit of handhelds to allow for the trialing and exercising of the system by members of the Emergency Management Community. NHEMS (National Health Emergency Management SubCommitee) members are the custoidans of the kits in each state. The NCCTRC can also assit with providing further support for large scale exercises if required.
Intrested organiations are able to licence the system's software for use on their own handheld devices and hosting of server software in their own enviroment.
